1,002,622. Display cartons. ALF COOKE Ltd. Aug. 13, 1964 [July 13, 1963], No. 27864/63. Heading B8P. A collapsible carton (Fig. 3) which is formed from a blank (Fig. 1) has ends of hollow box or like shape and its integral tubular body is hinged along crease lines 4 to the ends so that when the ends are pressed inwardly a part of the tubular body rests firmly within the hollow ends. In the embodiment shown, each of the four panels 2 has an identically shaped cut-out 12 from the top and bottom of which there are two pairs of parallel vertical score lines 13. Triangular shaped cut-outs 14, whose sides are stepped up at 16, are formed at the top and at the bottom of the panels as shown. On forming the carbon by pressing head and tail inwardly towards each other, these stepped up portions 16 interlock with apertures 17 to retain the top and bottom portions of panels 2 in contact with the respective end flaps.
