Abstract

1,002,087. Spring clips. F. T. PRODUCTS Ltd. June 18, 1963 [June 18, 1962], No. 23360/62. Heading E2B. A resilient fastener in the form of a single strip of material of substantially U- shape has a web 11 and two limbs 12, 13 each limb being outwardly elbowed intermediate its length and a lug 14, 15 being sheared and bent inwardly from each limb so as to present a bearing surface which is convex towards the opposite limb. In the construction shown the free end portion of each lug extends in the general direction of the web but in a modification they can extend in the opposite direction.
