100,151. Smith, S. M. March 10, 1915, [Convention date]. Grab-buckets; grab-forks.-A two-chain grab has a head 5 to which the duplex grappling-arms 8 are pivoted, and through an angular hole in which is adapted to slide without relative rotation a member 6, to the lower end of which are pivoted the actuating-links 12 connected by cross-pieces 13. The sliding member is actuated by a rope 18, which passes around pulleys secured to the fixed and movable members, or is attached to an eye in the head of the movable member. Removable buckets 22 of various shapes are adapted to be secured to the ends of the grappuhg-arms, according to the load to be lifted.
