Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a motor vehicle. For example, DE 10 2006 044 036 B4 discloses a motor vehicle comprising: a hood, which covers, in its closed position, a region of the passenger compartment of the motor vehicle and which is received in its opening position in a receiving space of the motor vehicle; - A linkage for moving the hood between its closed position and its open position; a passage allowing passage through it of the linkage 10 during the movement of the hood between its closed position and its open position; - A hood, which, in its release position, frees the passage for the passage through it of the linkage and in its closed position, closes the passage; and a Bowden cable for moving the cover between its release position and its closed position. The motor vehicle disclosed in DE 10 2006 044 036 B4 discloses a mechanism for releasing and closing a passage for a canopy linkage, which is relatively complicated and therefore likely to fail. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to at least reduce in particular the disadvantage described above. This object is made according to the invention by a motor vehicle characterized in that the Bowden cable is provided to rotate the cover between its release position and its closed position. The idea underlying the present invention lies in the fact that the Bowden cable is provided for pivoting the cover between its release position and its closed position. Such a Bowden cable can be very easily implemented. According to a preferred improvement of the motor vehicle according to the invention, the Bowden cable is fixed at one of its ends to the hood and at its other end to an arm of a rocker, the linkage acting during the movement of the hood. between its closed position and its open position on the other arm of the rocker to -2- allow its pivoting. As a result, a coupling of the movement of the hood with the movement of the hood is obtained. In addition, the flip-flop is a simple mechanism to transfer the movement of the linkage to the Bowden cable and thus to the hood.
According to another preferred improvement of the motor vehicle according to the invention, the linkage is driven by a motor, for the movement of the hood between its closed position and its open position, a pinion driven by the engine engaging with a control arm of the linkage having a toothed portion, the control arm acting on the other arm of the rocker. Thanks to this relatively direct transfer of the movement between the motor and the rocker, a reliable pivoting of the hood is guaranteed. Advantageously, the cover is prestressed by means of a spring in the release position and a shortening of the Bowden cable on the cover causes a pivoting thereof from the release position in the closed position. According to another characteristic, the spring acts directly on the hood. The latter is, according to the invention, made of a rigid material. The invention will be explained in more detail below by means of exemplary embodiments with reference to the appended figures of the drawing, in which: FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a motor vehicle according to an example of embodiment of the present invention, the hood being in its open position; Figure 2 illustrates, in a view A of Figure 1, a region shown in phantom in Figure 1, because it is concealed by the body of the motor vehicle, the hood being in its open position; Figure 3 illustrates the view of Figure 2, wherein the hood is in its closed position; and Figure 4 illustrates the view of Figure 2, wherein the hood is between its closed position and its open position. In the figures of the drawing, the same reference numerals denote identical or like components, unless otherwise indicated. FIG. 1 illustrates, in a perspective view, a motor vehicle 1 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. In this case, the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle is designated X, the transverse axis of the motor vehicle Y and the vertical axis of the motor vehicle by Z. The motor vehicle 1 has a hood 2 which is in its opening position in Figure 1 and which is received for this purpose in a reception space 3 of the motor vehicle 1. In its closed position not shown, the hood 2 extends over a region of the passenger compartment 4.
Figure 1 further illustrates a cover 5 which is disposed in a side region 6 of the body of the motor vehicle 1. The cover 5 is made of a rigid material, for example plastic. The cover 5 covers, in its closed position illustrated in Figure 1, a passage 7 for a linkage 8 concealed in Figure 1 by the side region 6 of the body. The linkage 8 serves to move the cover 2 between its closed position and its open position. This movement takes place by means of a drive unit 9 which is also concealed in FIG. 1 by the lateral region 6 of the bodywork and which is thus illustrated in dotted lines. When moving the hood between its closed position and its open position, the linkage 8 passes through the passage 7, and for this purpose the cover 5 must have been previously moved to a release position to release the passage 7 FIG. 2 illustrates a view A of FIG. 1. FIG. 2 illustrates two articulated arms 10, 11 of the linkage 8, which are folded over one another in the closed position of the hood 2. The articulated linkage arm 10 is pivotably mounted on the drive unit 9 by means of a control arm 14 of the linkage 8. The control arm 14 is driven by an electric motor 15 of the drive unit 9. The control arm 14 preferably has a toothed portion 12, which is engaged with a pinion 13 which is driven by the electric motor 15. The bodywork of the motor vehicle 1, in particular the lateral region 6 of the carrosseri e, is not shown in Figure 2 for reasons of clarity.
Figure 3 illustrates the view of Figure 2, in which the hood 2 is in its closed position. For this purpose, the articulated linkage arm 10 is pivoted along the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle X in the direction of the front side of the motor vehicle. The drive unit 9 has in particular a rocker 17 on a support portion 16 thereof. The latch 17 is pivotally mounted about an axis 18 which extends substantially along the transverse axis Y of the motor vehicle. The latch 17 has a first arm 19 and an arm 20 disposed substantially at right angles to it. The arm 19 is preferably made at its end with a roller 21 against which a portion 24 of the control arm 14 acts in the intermediate position illustrated in Figure 4, and also in the closed position of the hood shown in Figure 2 In addition, there is provided a Bowden cable 25, which can be guided in a pipe 26. The Bowden cable 25 is fixed at one of its ends 27 to the arm 20 of the rocker 17. At its other end 28, the Bowden cable 25 is fixed to a bracket 29. The bracket 29 is in turn attached to the cover 5. The cover 5 is mounted on a retaining piece 31 so as to be pivotable about an axis 30, which extends for example substantially along the longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle X. The retaining piece 31 is preferably attached to the side region 6 of the body.
Between the cover 5 and the retaining piece 31 is a spring 34, in particular a leaf spring, which preloads the cover 5 in its release position shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 4 illustrates an intermediate position of the top 2 between its closed position illustrated in FIG. 3 and its open position illustrated in FIG. 2. In FIG. 4, it can be seen how the control portion 24 of the control arm 14 is applied against the roller 21 of the first arm 19 of the rocker 17. If the hood 2 is now moved further into its open position, in which the arm 19 pivots more in the direction indicated by the arrow 35, the rocker 17 is then pivoted around the axis 18 in the direction of the arrow 36. Therefore, the second arm 20 pulls on the end 27 of the Bowden cable 25, so that the cover 5 is pivoted against the preload of the spring 34 of its position opening da ns the closing position about the axis 30. Thus, the movement of the hood 2 from its open position in its closed position is superimposed on the movement of the cover 5 from its release position in its closed position. The same goes for the opposite movement, in which the hood 2 is moved to its open position and the hood 5 is moved to its release position. Although the present invention has been described above with the aid of preferred embodiments, it is not limited thereto but can be varied in many ways. The invention is therefore not limited to the embodiments described and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications are possible, particularly from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
