Abstract

On construit le tunnel par tronçons successifs au moyen d'une machine M apte à fonctionner à l'air libre et en immersion que l'on déplace sur le sol, cette machine comportant une chambre étanche (6) pour abriter le personnel et le matériel requis pour la construction, cette chambre présentant une ouverture pour construire et poser un tronçon en arrière de la machine et la machine comportant à l'avant une chambre ballastable (7) équipée de moyens (21-23) pour préparer et niveler le sol en vue de la pose du tronçon.Application à la réalisation d'un tunnel sur un fond sous-marin ou sous-fluvial.
