  In such an application, the main boot mechanism is generally actuated by a key received in a safety block secured to the main boot. This mechanism moves a main lateral deadbolt received in the main boot, but also that of two auxiliary lateral deadbolts and two vertical deadbolts

  arranged outside the main trunk.

  The main boot mechanism comprises a lower drive member and an upper drive member which projects up and down from the boot and which are connected, for example by bolts, each to a vertical rod. Each vertical linkage is connected to an auxiliary box containing an auxiliary mechanism. This auxiliary mechanism ensures on the one hand the drive of an auxiliary lateral deadbolt received in the auxiliary trunk and on the other hand the return of the movement of the rod to an additional vertical rod constituting a deadbolt

  vertical to form a vertical top or bottom locking point.

  In such a lock with several lateral points and vertical points up and down, the torque to be applied by a user on the key to move the lateral and vertical deadbolts is particularly important, in particular because of the movement references provided by the

  mechanisms of the auxiliary boxes between the vertical linkages.

  The object of the invention is to solve this problem by providing a lock of the aforementioned type which allows in particular to move with a reduced force at least one lateral deadbolt and a vertical deadbolt arranged

  outside the main trunk.

  To this end, the invention relates to a lock of the aforementioned type, characterized in that the drive member comprises at least two

  means of connection to separate external bolts.

  According to particular embodiments, the lock may include one or more of the following characteristics, taken alone or in any technically possible combination: - the drive member is sliding relative to the main safe between its positions locking and unlocking along a sliding direction, and the connecting means are spaced from each other along a spacing direction substantially orthogonal to the sliding direction, - it comprises a headrest intended to be fixed ie along a vertical edge of a door leaf; and the drive member is sliding relative to the main boot substantially parallel to the headrest between its locking and unlocking positions, - a first of the connecting means is closer to the headrest along the spacing direction that 'a second connecting means, - the connecting means comprise at least one orifice formed in the projecting region of the entrainment member, - the connecting means comprise two orifices formed in parts of the entraining member which are substantially orthogonal one

to the other.

  The invention will be better understood on reading the description which will

  follow, given only by way of example, and made with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic, partial and side view of a lock according to the invention, this figure illustrating the main safe of the lock, and - Figure 2 is a schematic, partial and front view of the lock of Figure 1, on which the upper auxiliary safe of the lock is

also visible.

  The lock 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 is a mortise lock intended to be introduced laterally into the edge of a leaf

door, for example metallic.

  The lock 1 being substantially symmetrical with respect to a median horizontal plane P. only its upper part has been shown above on

Figure 2.

  The lock 1 comprises a main trunk 2 enclosing a main mechanism for moving a main lateral deadbolt 3 and

  of a latch bolt 4. These pins 3 and 4 are received in the main safe 2.

  The actuation of the main mechanism is ensured for example by a conventional cylinder, received in the main trunk 2 by openings 5. The

  cylinder has not been shown in the figures so as not to overload them.

  The displacement mechanism disposed in the trunk 2 is a conventional mechanism except as regards the two vertical members 6 for driving penins outside the trunk 2. Only these members 6 therefore have

  been shown in the figures.

  A first of these members 6 projects downwards from the main boot 2 through a region 8 and the other projects upwards from the boot

main 2 by region 8.

  The members 6 are each formed from a single metal piece.

  For each organ 6, its region 8 therefore came integrally with its region

  located inside the main boot 2.

  The members 6 are guided in a conventional manner in the main boot 2 to be movable in translation vertically between a position

  retracted and at least one position extracted.

  As illustrated in Figure 2, each drive member 6 comprises in its region 8 a first leg 9 substantially vertical and a second leg 10 folded to be substantially horizontal. A circular orifice 11 is formed in the first tab 9 and a circular orifice 12 is

  in the second leg 10.

  The lock 1 further comprises an elongated vertical headrest 14 (fig. 2) secured to the main trunk 2 and intended to be flush with the edge of a

door swing.

  The lock 1 comprises, fixed to the headrest 14, two auxiliary safes arranged vertically on either side of the main trunk 2 and laterally on the same side of the headrest 14 as the main trunk 2. The upper trunk and the lower trunk 15 are spaced vertically from the trunk

main 12.

  Each auxiliary chest 15 contains a mechanism for moving an auxiliary lateral dead bolt 16 received in the auxiliary chest 15. The mechanism of the auxiliary chest 15 considered is actuated by a vertical rod 17 movable vertically in translation. A first end of the rod 17 is connected to the first tab 9 of the corresponding drive member 6, for example by means of a pivot. The other end of the rod 17 is connected, inside the auxiliary box 15 considered, to the mechanism contained therein. This mechanism is a conventional mechanism, except that it does not contain means for returning the movement of the rod 17

to another vertical rod.

  The headrest 14 comprises at its lower and upper ends folded edges 20 for guiding two vertical rods 21, namely a

  lower rod and an upper rod.

  Each rod 21 comprises a first end 22 forming a vertical deadbolt guided vertically by sliding in an orifice 23

of the corresponding rim 20.

  The second end 24 of the rod 21 considered is connected to the second tab 10 of the corresponding drive member 6. This connection is ensured for example by means of two nuts screwed onto the rod 21 of which

the end 24 is threaded.

  The lower rod 21 thus extends continuously from the lower drive member 6 passing alongside the lower auxiliary trunk 15

to the lower edge 20.

  Likewise, the upper rod 21 extends continuously from the upper drive member 6 passing alongside the auxiliary boot

  upper to the upper edge 20.

  The rotation of the key received in the cylinder of the main boot 2 actuates the main mechanism and conventionally causes on the one hand the displacement of the main lateral deadbolt 3 and on the other hand the

  vertical movements of the drive members 6.

  These drive members 6 on the one hand actuate the auxiliary mechanisms of the auxiliary safes 15 via the rods 17, which causes the displacement of the auxiliary lateral deadbolts 16, and

  on the other hand, move the rods 21 and therefore the vertical deadbolts 22.

  Thus, when the drive members 6 pass from their retracted position to their extracted position (s), the deadbolts 3, 16 and 22 pass from their unlocked position to their locked position (s) ( s). Lock 1 is therefore a lock with three lateral points and two vertical points. Thus, the drive members 6 control in parallel the locking and unlocking of the auxiliary side bolts 16 and the bolts

vertical 22.

  Thanks to the drive members 6 with two connecting means 11 and 12, the locking of the high and low points and of the auxiliary lateral points is not controlled in series by the same rod 17 and does not require

  return mechanism in the auxiliary boxes 15.

  Thus, it can be seen that the efforts necessary to move the lateral deadbolts 3 and 16 and the vertical deadbolts 22 of the

lock are reduced.

  Furthermore, the main trunk 2 provided with drive members 6 with two connecting means can be used in a standard manner to form

  locks of different configurations.

  Indeed, thanks to the presence of two means 11 and 12 for connection to separate bolts external to the main boot 2, the main boot 2 can

  adapt to many configurations of locks and door leaves.

  Thus, only the first connecting means 11 can be used to produce a lock with two auxiliary lateral deadbolts without

vertical deadbolt.

  In another configuration, only the second connecting means 12 can be used to produce a lock with two dormant penes

  vertical without auxiliary deadbolt.

  In yet another conflguration, the first means 11 of S connection can be used to actuate the displacement of two auxiliary lateral dormant penes while the second means 12 of connection can be used to ensure the displacement of two other penes

auxiliary side frames.

  The large number of possibilities for using the main boot 2 is in particular due to the fact that the first tab 9 and the second tab 10 of the drive members 6 are spaced from each other when moving away horizontally and laterally from the headrest 14 and by the fact that these legs 9

  and 6 are orthogonal to each other.

  It will also be noted that the connecting means 11 are specially adapted for mounting a flat rod while the means 12 are

  suitable specifically for mounting a threaded thread.

  Thus, the trunk 2 is adapted to the use of different rods thus leaving the manufacturer the choice of rods to be used for certain applications. The main trunk 2 can also be used to constitute

  locks intended to be mounted on a door leaf.

  Thanks to the large number of possible applications, the cost price

  unit of the main trunk 2 and its mechanism can be reduced.

  More generally, the main trunk 2 can comprise drive members 6 with more than two means of connection to penises

outside the boot 2.

  Furthermore, the trunk 2 may include a lateral drive member 6 and no vertical drive member 6 or a single member

6 vertical drive.

  In addition, other means of connection than orifices can be envisaged.

Claims (6)

  1. Lock (1) of the type comprising at least one main trunk (2), a mechanism for moving at least one external bolt (16, 22) disposed outside the main trunk, this mechanism being disposed in the main trunk and comprising at least one entrainement member (6) one region (8) of which protrudes from the main trunk (2), this projecting region (8) being provided with at least one means (11, 12) for connection to an external bolt (16, 22), the drive member (6) being mobilized with respect to the main boot (2) between at least one locking position and an unlocking position of the external bolt, characterized in that the drive member ( 6) comprises at least two means (11, 12) for connection to separate external bolts (16, 22). 2. Lock according to claim 1, characterized in that the drive member (6) is sliding relative to the main boot (2) between its locking and unlocking positions along a sliding direction, and in that the connecting means (11, 12) are spaced from each other along a spacing direction substantially orthogonal to the sliding direction.   3. Lock according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises a headrest (14) intended to be fixed along a vertical edge of a door leaf, and in that the drive member (6) is sliding relative to the main trunk substantially parallel to the headrest between its   locking and unlocking positions.   4. Lock according to claims 2 and 3 taken together, characterisoe   in that a first (11) of the connecting means is closer to the headrest along the spacing direction than a second (12) of the connecting means.   5. Lock according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in   that the connecting means (11, 12) comprise at least one orifice formed in the projecting region (8) of the entraining member 6.
