Abstract

L'invention concerne un révélateur de couleur pour papier d'enregistrement sensible à la pression, consistant en un minéral argileux du type smectite traité par un acide. Ledit minéral argileux traité présente une composition comprenant en poids, sur la base des oxydes du produit séché à 110 degre(s)C, 75 à 92 % de SiO2 , 3,5 à 12,8 % de Al2 O3 , 0,7 à 3,0 % de Fe2 O3 et 0,8 à 5,0 % de MgO; un diagramme de diffraction de rayons X propre à une smectite dioctaédrique dans l'intervalle de distances de 0,149 à 0,151 nm; dans la mesure de RMN-MAS de **o**2Al sur échantillon solide, un rapport SV I /SI V de l'aire du pic SV I situé dans l'intervalle de déplacement chimique de 31 ppm à - 50 ppm à l'aire du pic SI V situé dans l'intervalle de déplacement chimique de 31 ppm à 100 ppm qui est compris entre 60/40 et 85/15; une capacité d'échange de cations de 20 à 60 méq/100 g; et une blancheur selon Hunter d'au moins 80 %. Ce révélateur de couleur offre une grande blancheur, une haute densité de couleur initiale, d'excellentes qualités de solidité à la lumière et résistance aux agents atmosphériques et une basse viscosité. Domaine d'application : Impression de copies sans carbone.
