Le filé comprend trois catégories de fibres discontinues A, B, C disposées en couches coaxiales. Une première catégorie de fibres discontinues A possédant chacune le plus gros titre, est située dans la partie centrale dudit filé pour en constituer le noyau. Une deuxième catégorie de fibres discontinues B ayant chacune un titre inférieur à celui des fibres A, entoure la partie centrale pour former une partie intermédiaire Une troisième catégorie de fibres discontinues C ayant chacune le titre le plus faible, entoure la partie intermédiaire pour former la partie extérieure. Application en particulier à la fabrication de textiles doux et moelleux au toucher, d'aspect cossu.
