Abstract
L'invention concerne la fabrication d'un vitrage coupe-feu comprenant au moins une couche de matière intumescente prise en sandwich entre deux feuilles suivant un procédé comprenant la formation de cette couche et la solidarisation des feuilles. Suivant l'invention, la couche intumescente est constituée par une ou plusieurs matières dont au moins la plus grande partie en volume est en forme de grains. Le procédé convient par exemple pour les vitrages coupe-feu comportant deux feuilles de verre extérieures et une ou plusieurs couches intumescentes constituée(s) de silicate de métal alcalin hydraté.
