Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de production d'hydrogène par électrolyse d'un hydracide halogéné par un processus réactionnel utilisant des particules de carbone comme source d'énergie. Conformément au procédé de l'invention, l'acide soumis à l'électrolyse est obtenu en faisant réagir l'halogène, provenant de l'électrolyse, avec de l'eau et des particules de carbone dans une zone réactionnelle 140 communiquant avec la cellule électrolytique B. L'invention s'applique notamment à la production d'hydrogène par électrolyse de l'acide chlorhydrique ou de l'acide iodhydrique.
