Abstract

Catalyseur pour la synthèse de l'ammoniac à partir d'hydrogène et d'azote. Ce catalyseur comprend comme support du carbone renfermant du graphite et présentant une surface de plan principal d'au moins 100 m**2/g, un rapport surface totale active : surface de plan principal n'excédant pas 5 :1 et un rapport surface de plan principal : surface des bords d'au moins 5 : 1. Il comprend, comme composants actifs, de 0,1 à 50 % d'un métal de transition et de 0,1 à 4 fois ce poids d'un métal ou d'un ion métallique de modification choisi parmi les ions métalliques alcalins, alcalino-terreux, actinides ou lanthanides. Cet ion métallique ou métal de modification est associé plus activement avec le métal de transition qu'avec le support. Application à l'amélioration du rendement de la réaction de préparation d'ammoniac à partir d'azote et d'hydrogène.
