Abstract
La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de production d'hydrogène par électrolyse d'un hydracide halogéné et régénération en continu de cet électrolyte. Conformément au procédé de l'invention, l'acide soumis à l'électrolyse est obtenu en faisant réagir l'halogène, provenant de l'électrolyse, avec de l'eau en présence d'un catalyseur choisi parmi le carbone graphitisé, le titane associé à du ruthénium et le titane platiné. L'invention s'applique notamment à la production d'hydrogène par électroyse de l'acide chlorhydrique ou de l'acide iodhydrique.
