Abstract

L'invention décrit un procédé de production de H2 gazeux. On fait réagir une matière carbonée avec de l'eau et au moins un halogène (Cl2 , Br2 et/ou I2 ) pour obtenir des produits contenant CO2 et l'halogénure d'hydrogène correspondant que l'on décompose pour libérer séparément l'hydrogène et l'halogène. On récupère l'halogène pour le faire réagir avec un supplément de la matière carbonée et avec l'eau, et l'on recueille l'hydrogène comme produit marchand Le procédé peut être appliqué de façon continue Il peut utiliser divers déchets carbonés d'un hydrogène pur.
