Charge explosive plate présentant sur sa face dirigée vers l'objectif une cavité recouverte d'un revêtement métallique 3. Le revêtement 3 est en tantale ou en alliage à forte teneur en tantale. Il forme un cône d'angle au sommet supérieur à 110 degrés et son épaisseur décroît de la base vers le sommet. La profondeur de pénétration est augmentée, sans fragmentation du projectile.
