Abstract

Le transporteur à chaînes selon la présente invention comprend une multiplicité de chaînes sans fin disposées côte à côte et supportant des articles en cours de transport, ces chaînes étant entraînées par engrènement avec des barbotins 100, 101 se trouvant sur des arbres d'entraînement communs 112. On obtient que les chaînes puissent être démontées individuellement et indépendamment et puissent être remplacées par le fait qu'elles sont montées sur une cassette. La cassette comprend un châssis 102-105 qui assure la présence d'une piste pour des galets de la chaîne ainsi que les supports des barbotins. Les barbotins ne sont donc pas supportés par les arbres d'entraînement que l'on peut extraire axialement pour permettre à la cassette d'être enlevée. Applications : transport de piles d'articles, notamment des piles en tôles de fer-blanc.
