[Also in Group XXX] In an endless scraper conveyer whereby material is conveyed along a trough 15 by scrapers 14 attached to an endless chain 10, the chain is guided by idler sprockets 16, 17, 18, 19, and the material is discharged over the end of ramp 24 and a scraper cleaning attachment 43, 45, is provided at the beginning of the return run of ramp 24, the chain 10 is driven in opposite directions by sprockets 22, 23, of which 23 can be rotatably adjusted relative to sprocket 22 by bolts engaging in hub 32 through slots in sprocket 23. The idler and driving sprockets are provided with stub teeth 20 which engage in links 12 and guide bars 21 engage links 11. In passing idler 35, bars 54 abut scrapers 14 and prevent them from tilting downwards. Lengths of the chain 10 may be connected by links 49.
