Abstract

1367047 Endless conveyers ABRASIVE DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 20 March 1973 13227/73 Heading B8A A blast cabinet is provided with endless chain elements 35 having brush members 39 which convey abrasive material across a floor 14 into a trough 15 provided with an auger conveyer 16. Pairs of the elements 35 are supported on sprockets 34, and the members 39, including brushes 44 which may be renewable, extend transversely of each pair of chain elements 35. A unit 33 drives the chains by shafts 28, 30 which carry some of the sprockets 34. The conveyer 16 is also driven by the unit 33. Baffles 22, Fig. 1, and beams (25), Fig. 3 (not shown), help direct the material which drops through grids 20 on to the floor.
