Abstract

Procédé pour préparer de l'acrylamide ou du méthacrylamide à l'aide de micro-organismes. On expose de l'acrylonitrile ou du méthacrylonitrile en milieu aqueux à l'action de bactéries capables de les hydrolyser, par exemple les souches N-771 et N-774 du genre Corynebacterium ou N-775 du genre Nocardia, à une température comprise entre le point de congélation du milieu et 30 degrés C et à un pH de 6 à 10. L'opération peut être réalisée dans des colonnes sur des micro-organismes immobilisés dans des grains de gel de polymère. Le procédé selon l'invention donne les amides recherchés avec des rendements pratiquement quantitatifs.
