Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé pour obtenir un revêtement de gel de matière réfractaire sur un substrat. On met le substrat au contact d'un sol d'une matière réfractaire, pouvant être transformé en un gel de cette matière réfractaire (la densité apparente du gel représentant au moins 40 % de la densité théorique de la matière réfractaire) et l'on transforme le sol en gel par cuisson. Les revêtements obtenus peuvent protéger le substrat (contre une attaque ou des dépôts) ou porter une matière catalytiquement active et déposée ensuite.
