Abstract

L'appareil comprend des moyens de conversion analogiquenumérique permettant de convertir un signal analogique en signaux numériques sous la forme de mots constitués chacun par plusieurs chiffres binaires. Des moyens de codage sont reliés aux moyens de convertion de manière à coder les signaux numériques en transformant les signaux numériques en mots numériques comportant chacun un nombre prédeterminé de chiffres binaires identiques. Application, notamment, aux signaux vidéo et au son.
