Abstract

L'invention concerne la chimie des stéroïdes. Elle décrit un procédé de production de composés du type androsta-4,9(11)-diène-3,17-dione à partir de composés du type 9 alpha -hydroxyandrostènediones par déshydratation à l'aide d'un oxacide fort non aromatique. Les composés du type androsta-4,9(11)-diène-3,17-dione sont intéressants pour la production de substances pharmaceutiques, notamment de dérives de la testostérone.
