Abstract

L'invention est relative à un liant amélioré pour briquettes de houille. Le liant pour le briquetage de la houille est obtenu à partir d'une poix dure de goudron de houille, ayant un point de ramollissement suivant Krämer-Sarnow de 120 à 200 degrés C et de préférence de 140 à 160 degrés C, en ajoutant des fractions d'hydrocarbures dont le point d'ébullition est de 220 à 450 degrés C provenant de goudron de houille ou par pyrolyse de fractions du pétrole, jusqu'à un point de ramollissement de 50 à 100 degrés C. Le liant selon l'invention permet d'obtenir des briquettes dégageant moins de fumée et dont les propriétés mécaniques sont comparables à celles des briquettes de l'art antérieur.
