Abstract

Procédé de revêtement d'un article métallique avec une composition de polyéthylène, comprenant les étapes consistant : à préparer un mélange de poudres de polyéthylène haute densité et basse densité, ledit mélange contenant, en volume, de 1 partie de polyéthylène haute densité et 1 partie de polyéthylène basse densite, à 1 partie de polyéthylène haute densité à 3 parties de polyéthylène basse densité; à chauffer une surface dudit article métallique à une température comprise entre 230 degrés C et environ 315 degrés C; à appliquer ledit mélange de poudres sur ladite surface chauffée dudit article métallique jusqu'à une épaisseur désirée; à maintenir ladite surface à une température comprise entre 230 degrés C et environ 315 degrés C pendant une période d'environ 5 à 15 minutes; puis à refroidir ledit article métallique jusqu'à la température ambiante. Protection des substrats métalliques ferreux de la corrosion.
