Abstract

L'invention concerne le traitement de la surface d'oxydes minéraux particulaires par de l'organo-silicium. La composition de l'invention comprend des particules d'un oxyde minéral dont la surface contient un silane (possédant au moins 2 à 3 groupes hydrolysables fixés sur Si et un groupe organique contenant un groupe poly (oxyde d'alkylène), ses hydrolysais ou produits de condensation. Le traitement sert à améliorer la dispersabilité de charge (pigmentation ou armature) pour des peintures et matières plastiques, et à améliorer les caractéristiques physiques des composites moulés obtenus. On peut notamment traiter des particules de TiO2 ou de Al(OH)3 .
