Abstract

Un tel appareil est formé d'une chambre de chauffage alimentée en vapeur saturée et dont les parois présentent des orifices, à travers lesquels est tiré le fil. Selon l'invention, l'aire de section des orifices 5 dans les parois 3 de la chambre de chauffage 1 est modifiable (peut être réduite) par un obturateur 6. Les tubes verticaux aux extrémités de chambre de chauffage 1 forment des chambres de détente 2 qui possèdent des orifices 5 analogues. Les orifices sont triangulaires et les obturateurs cylindriques 6 permettent de repousser le fil 7 dans l'un des angles de chaque orifice 5, ce qui permet de fermer les chambres suffisamment. La vapeur arrive par 8 et l'eau de condensation sort par 9. L'invention est applicable à l'étirage et à la texturation de fils synthétiques.
