Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer de l'hexafluoropropanone-2. On prepare de l'hexafluoropropanone-2 à partir de l'hexafluoropropène selon une réaction en un seul stade qui consiste à mettre de l'hexafluoropropéne et de l'oxygène au contact d'alumine fluorée ou de silice-alumine fluorée comme catalyseur, en présence ou en l'absence d'eau, sous réserve que de l'eau soit présente lorsque le catalyseur est l'alumine fluorée. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la production industrielle avec un rendement elevé de l'hexafluoropropanone-2.
