Abstract
Procédé pour la préparation de TiCl3 violet par réduction de TiCl4 avec un compose organo-aluminium. a. Le TiCl4 est prémélangé avec un agent complexant dans un solvant organique inerte, le rapport molaire agent complexant TiCl 4 etant compris entre 0,3 : 1 et 2 : 1. b. Le composé organo-aluminium est prémélangé avec un agent complexant dans un solvant organique inerte, le rapport molaire agent complexant : composé organo-aliminium étant d'au moins 0,25 : 1. c. La réduction est effectuée en une période de moins d'une heure à une température comprise entre 60 degrés C et 110 degrés C. d. La concentration finale de TiCl3 violet dans le mélange de réaction est d'au moins 0,2 mole par litre. Le TiCl3 violet est utilisable comme constituant d'un catalyseur pour la préparation d'oléfines, en particulier pour la polymérisation stéréospécifique d'alpha-oléfines.
