Abstract

The craft has twin hulls which may be inflatable and is fitted with reinforcing supports in between the hulls. An air propeller (4) driven by a motor (5) is mounted on a pillar (15) to maintain it out of reach of the crew who sit in front of the control panel (34) in the centre. The craft is fitted with a submerged rudder (21) as well as an air rudder (20) mounted on the post (19). Stability is maintained by the hydrofoils (6) mounted on either side of the rudder. Additional aerofoil planes may be fitted above the hydrofoil sections.
