Abstract

A ground effect craft by an aircraft type propeller at the rear, has a hull consisting of a two parallel floats with the space between them filled by a sheet. The propeller drive unit mounted at a low level between the floats is supported by a frame and located inside a semicircular housing giving the propulsive force. Mounted at a high level at the forward part of the hull is a wing shaped lift blade at right angles to the central axis of the craft, and at the rear is attached a rudder. In an alternative design, two propulsion units are mounted forwardly and side by side, and instead of the front wing, the craft has a tail shaped like a conventional aircraft tail.
