Abstract

The folding scaffolding (1) consists of a platform (2) which has a movable guard-rail (3). The two end frames (4, 5) have sliding feet (6, 8) on the end of which are wheels (10, 12) which can be locked in position. The slanting, stays (14, 15) are easily removed. Each end and frame is joined by a link (21, 23) connecting each corner of the platform to an upright of the frames (4, 5). Each link (21, 23) is joined to the upright by a first, horizontal bearing (31), and to the platform corner by a second, horizontal bearing (32). Each link is fixed to its corresponding upright by a movable pin (33) inserted through a hole in the link and a hole in the upright. An end frame can be swung upwards if required.
