Abstract
1,109,977. Garden frames. R. GRANT. 16 March, 1967 [5 May, 1966], No. 19824/66. Heading A1E. A seed and plant frame comprises a pair of framed lights 1, 2 chamfered along meeting edges where they are secured together, side walls 10, 11 on which outer edges of the framed lights are secured, and lower and side runners 18, 19 carried by the side walls to run of L-sectioned rails 12, 13. The lights may be secured together by angle brackets which may be of hinged form so that the brackets can be adjusted by turn buckles. The runners 18, 19 may comprise wheels and the upper surface of the base of the rails may be inclined for drainage purposes. Lengths of rail may be joined by pieces of wood which also form ground keys to retain the rails in position. The frames may be provided with hand grips and they may be held stationary by means of pivoted legs.
