A hand truck comprises a central part 1 having a V-shaped base 2, uprights 5 and horizontal extensions 4. Secured to the uprights 5 are the limbs 13 of a handle member 14, and two C-shaped frames 6, castor wheels being provided on the members 6 and 13. Boards are placed across the arms 4, 8 and across the base members to form shelves.
