A hand truck comprises an axle 10 supported on wheels 12 and carrying adjustable arms 13 on which rollers 14 are mounted and a handle member 22 which may be adjustable in length. The arms 13 are preferably extended beyond the rollers 14 and bent downwards to support the rollers clear of the ground.
