Class 108(1) A hand truck comprises a base 6, 7 on which side frames 14 are pivoted, adjustable stays 18 being provided to vary the spacing of the pivoted bearing blocks 4 carried by the upper ends of the frames 14. An arcuate transverse member 12 at the forward end of the truck is provided with a socket 16 for engagement of a wheeled jack when it is desired to wheel the truck.
