839,900. Hand trucks. GERMAIN, J. Dec. 2, 1957 [Nov. 30, 1956; Nov. 22, 1957], No. 37490/57. Class 108(1) A pair of wheeled devices 2, 3 for inserting under a load 1 are secured together by a flexible band 15 passing round pulleys 10 pivoted to the side plate 6 of the devices. The devices may be fitted with castors 8 or with fixed axle wheels 11 and rollers 13 facilitate the engagement of the devices with the load. An arrangement is also described where a chain is used between the two devices to draw them together and thereby raise the load on to them.
