Abstract

802,172. Rotary tipplers. STRACHAN & HENSHAW, Ltd. March 7,1957 [Jan. 14, 1956], No. 1323/56. Class 78 (4). [Also in Group XVIII] Truck-supporting platform 23 is supported on the cradle 17 of a rotary tippler by a pair of links 28 which permit the platform to move sideways, during tipping, to bring the truck side into engagement with a bolster 18. The cradle is supported from the tippler frame by links 22 and is provided with rollers 19 which engage arcuate guides 20 in the rings 11. The tippler is provided with weighing apparatus (see Group XVIII).
