630,588. Hand trucks. WARRY, R. F. July 20, 1945, No. 12639/47. Divided out of 630,551. [Class 108 (i)] A hand truck, particularly for transporting slabs, and the like, has a frame comprising parallel inwardlyflanged bars 6 braced at their lower ends by a U-shaped toe-plate 14 and connected at their top ends by a handlebar 8 with handle arms 8a. Wheels 10 on an axle 11, mounted in depending brackets 12, welded to the bars 6, provide for normal movement, but the truck may be turned in a small radius on rollers 14<SP>1</SP> located at the base. In an adaptation, the toe-plate 14 may be interengaged with channel-members on carriers for slabs and other building material.
