Abstract

1376435 Trolleys G L FRIEND 11 Jan 1973 [20 Oct 1971] 48757/71 Heading B7B A trolley comprises a tubular frame 11 telescopically receiving a handle 12 and a pair of wheel carriers 19 engageable in sockets 18 on the frame 11 which further has an element for supporting an object such as a golf club bag or a canoe. In a preferred embodiment, Fig. 2, sockets 18 are welded to the frame 11 as are brackets 15 and stop 17. The brackets and stop may alternatively be bolted on. In an alternative arrangement, Fig. 3, the frame 11 is surrounded by a casting 23 for receiving the spigots 20 of the wheel carriers 19. The casting is lockable to the frame 11 by a thumb screw 24 and the spigots by thumb screws 25, a plate 26 being interposed between the thumb screws and the respective tubes to prevent surface damage. The handle grip 13 may be adjoined to the handle 12 by a releasable pivot joint.
