572,872. Steering wheelbarrows &c. LACOSTE, L. Aug. 25, 1943, No. 13842. [Class 79 (v)] [Also in Group XXXII] Means for steering a wheelbarrow or similar hand-propelled truck comprises a wheel axle tube B having arms E, H rigid therewith extending substantially vertically and horizontally thereto and connected by universal joints F, F<1> to a bracket A adapted to be secured to the barrow, &c. so that on leaning the barrow to the left in the direction of the arrows L the top of the bracket will move similarly about the joint F as fulcrum while the lower part of the bracket will move oppositely in the direction of the arrow M and so turn the axle B, through the arm H, in the direction of the arrow N. Leaning the barrow in the opposite direction turns the axle reversely.
