Abstract

1,043,803. Battery-driven golf trolleys. F. A. EVANS. Jan. 18, 1965 [Jan. 16, 19641, No. 1933/64. Heading B7H. A power-assisted golf trolley comprises a body 10 on a two-wheeled axle and two bagsupporting members 23, 26 pivotable between a bag-supporting position (in full lines) and a folded position (in broken lines) in which they form props engageable with the ground to restrict or prevent tipping of the body about the axle 13. Members 23, 26 are held in place by clamp 29 passing through slotted members 28 secured thereto. A handle 32 with a twistgrip for controlling the electric drive motor 16 is pivoted to member 25 and held in an extended or folded position by clamp 33. The wheels are driven through free-wheels or other one-way clutches and the batteries 18 are mounted on either side of the axle.
