Abstract
842,637. Glazing metal frames. JALLAIS A. G., J. Dec. 24, 1956 [Dec. 27, 1955], No. 39256/56. Class 20(3) A welded frame, e.g. for a forced cultivation light, is formed by four longitudinal sections comprising two angle iron sides 3, 4, two intermediate T-section irons 5, 6, and three cross bars comprising a flat bar 9 intermediate two angle iron end bars 7, 8. Replaceable mouldings 2, made e.g. of wood, and fitted beneath the upper flanges 15, 16 of the longitudinal sections, have longitudinal grooves 19 which slidingly receive three lights V located in position by pegs 20 which engage holes 21 in the end bars 7 and 8. The latter have handles 22. Each moulding 2 has a central notch 17 to receive the cross bar 9 and a notch 18 at each end to fit between the upper face of the respective cross bar and the corresponding angle or T-section bar.
