Abstract

The collapsible work table is mounted on rollers (8a, 8b). The table has four legs (2a, 2b) each with a roller mounted at the foot. The rollers (8b) on two adjacent legs (2b) are mounted on individual lever arms (10) fixed on a common horizontal axle (11). The axle (11) passes through a tube (4b) which joins the two leg ends. Each table leg may comprise a pinned 'V' frame (3a, 20). The 'V' frames may be positioned in pairs (2a, 2b) in parallel vertical planes. The inner top of each 'V' may be pinned (5) to the table top (1). The outer top of each 'V' may dowel into a socket provided in the table top. Facing 'V' frames may be joined by permanent rails (4a, 4b) between the nodes.
