Abstract

742,025. Cycle stands. PHILLIPS & CO., Ltd., J. A. Aug. 17, 1954 [Aug. 12, 1953], No. 22198/53. Class 136 (1). A bicycle stand comprises widely-spaced arched foot members 4 supporting adjacent ends of a pair of narrowly-spaced wheel guide arches 5, the ends of which are joined by bars 6 serving as lower wheel guide members and stiffeners for the structure of the stand. The ends of the rods forming the arches 5 are screwthreaded for attachment to the foot members 4 and the bars 6 by nuts 12. Cross struts 14 are rigidly secured as by welding to the bars 6. Each arched foot member 4 is braced by a strip 10 joining the feet 9.
