Class 136(3) [Also in Group XXV] The column 1 which carries the footboard is pivoted in a pair of apertured links 5 welded or otherwise secured to the front column 2 and is positioned longitudinally thereof by means of a bearing member 8 which is secured to the column 1 by a split pin 9 and has lugs 11 extending into the angular paths of the links to limit their rotation. In a modification two separate bearing members, one adjacent each link, are provided. There may be only one lug 11.
