Abstract

The wooden frame is made in two parts. Each part comprises one rear or back support (2), the diagonally opposite front leg (2), and an upper and lower diagonal cross rail (1). One cross rail of each part fits in the space between the cross rails of the other part, to form a sliding collapsible joint. The seat and back is canvas held by a tube in a loop at each end; this tube locating in half round grooves in the top of each upright. If used as a table, the canvas is used to support a right top located at the front.
