Abstract

A folding wooden chair has its front legs and back formed by rectangular section side members (1), a fixed bottom rail (2) and adjustable top rail (3). The rear legs (2, 4) are shorter and attached to the front by a pair of overlapping half brackets (5) each side, bolted together. Pegs (8) spaced down the inner faces of the rear legs support the seat (6), fitting into slotted brackets (7). The front of the seat is supported on a bar, passing through brackets (9) under the seat. This bar fits into slots (10) inside the front legs. The seat is adjustable for height and is removable for storage.
