Abstract

The pourer fits over the neck of the bottle, and is locked in position by means of an external locking sleeve. The inside of the pourer fits inside the neck of the bottle. It is pressed home down to the flange (6a) which rests on the top of the bottle neck. The pourer has a double inside wall which extends beyond the bottle to form a pouring lip (6e) and is joined to a cap (3) by a tear-off strip (4) with a gripping tab (5). The tear-off strip is joined to the sleeve by a reduced thickness line (10) formed by an inner annular groove and is joined to the cap (3) by the bottoms of radial ribs (3c) on the periphery of the cap.
