Abstract

Base plate (1) has raised block (4) with tubes (6 & 8) protruding from one side parallel to the plane of the plate. Tube (8) is extended inside block (4) by bore (10) whilst tube (6) is extended by hole (12) through to rebate (14). HOle (12) has central section (16) of smaller diameter. The open ends of tubes (6 & 8) receive pins (18, 20) of male hinge (22). Pin (20) is solid whilst within pin (18) is a female thread which receives a bolt (24) passing through from rebate (14). Bolt (24) is of slightly smaller diameter than hole at central section (16) and draws in the male hinge (22) when tightened, allowing accurate positioning of door. Vertical alignment is provided by adjusting screws (42) at top and bottom of plate (1).
