Paumelle pour le montage à l'intérieur d'un cadre fixe d'un panneau mobile en pivotement autour d'un axe, à position réglable en sens latéral par rapport à cet axe, cette paumelle ayant un premier charnon (2) réuni à une patte de fixation (1) destinée à être fixée à une première pièce (panneau mobile en pivotement ou cadre fixe) par une tranche latérale de cette pièce, un second charnon associé à une autre patte de fixation (19) destinée à être fixée à une seconde pièce (cadre fixe ou panneau mobile) par une tranche latérale de cette seconde pièce, ce second charnon (5) ayant un trou perpendiculairement à l'axe de pivotement, caractérisée en ce que le second charnon (2) et l'autre patte de fixation (19) sont réunis par l'intermédiaire d'un retour rigide en équerre (18) s'étendant à partir de cette patte perpendicu­lairement au plan de celle-ci, se trouvant après montage devant une face principale de la pièce correspondante à ce second charnon, au niveau du trou (8) de ce dernier, ce retour en équerre (18) portant une pièce (17) ayant un trou (16) orthogonal audit axe de pivotement, placé en alignement axial avec ledit trou (8) du second charnon (5), l'un de ces deux trous (8,16) étant fileté et une vis (10) munie de moyens de manoeuvre en rotation (22) se vissant dans le trou fileté en étant contenue, immobilisée en translation et libre en rotation, par une partie non fileteé (9) dans le trou non fileté.1.
