    characterized in that said flange (2) has on its rear face (2b), in at least one end portion (2'), a cavity (5) into which the corresponding bore (6) and recess (7) open out,
    in that said device comprises at least one security element (10) having an elastic base (11), designed to be seated in the cavity (5), and comprising the positioning element (12) designed to be accommodated in the corresponding bore (6) and said locking component (13) designed to be accommodated in said recess (7), the locking component (13) being, either integral with the elastic base (11), or formed by a cam (13) rotatably mounted in said recess (7) between a retracted position, in which the locking portion (14) of the cam (13) is seated in said recess (7), and a locking position, in which the locking portion (14) of the cam (13) extends at right angles to one end (1a) of the hinge pin (1).
  2. Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that one end (12a) of the positioning element (12) extends into a groove (1c) made in the hinge pin (1).
  3. Device according to one of Claims 1 or 2, characterized in that it includes two security elements (10), each having a positioning element (12) designed to emerge into the aperture (4) of the corresponding bearing (3).
  4. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the locking component (13), which is integral with the elastic base (11), comprises a finger (15) which is seated in the recess (7) of an end portion (2') of said flange (2) and has a locking portion (14) which is curved towards the centre of said flange (2) and is designed to draw aside on insertion of the hinge pin (1), moving from said end portion (2') towards the centre of said flange (2).
  5. Device according to Claim 4, characterized in that the locking component (13) has a groove (16) formed at the junction of the finger (15) and the curved locking portion (14), on an outer face of said finger (15).
  6. Device according to one of Claims 1 to 3, the locking component (13) being a cam (13) rotatably mounted in the recess (7), characterized in that an end face (2c) of the flange (2) is provided with an aperture (17) in a plane transverse to the hinge pin (1), the locking portion (14) moving round in said aperture (17).
  7. Device according to Claim 6, characterized in that said aperture (17) has the shape of an angular sector having an opening of between 45° and 90° in said transverse plane.
  8. Device according to Claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the elastic base (11) forms a cover on the rear face (2b) of the flange (2).
